WinRAR is a shareware file archiver and data compression utility. It can create archived files in ZIP or proprietary RAR format, and unpack many archive file formats. WinRAR runs under Microsoft Windows in GUI mode.
Today I going to tell you how to normally compress file, using WinRAR,
- Right click on file and folder you want to compress.
- Click add to archive
- Click on General Tab, select Best from ‘compression method’ drop-down menu
- Check the ‘create solid archive‘ box
- Click ‘Advance tab’ in compression button.
- Set ‘text compression‘ to ‘Auto’
- Ensure ‘Dictionary size’ set ‘4096’ kb
- Click OK
