In case of a password protect worksheet you are unable to Edit the data on the Excel Sheet. If you do not Remember the Password or do not know the password to unprotect the sheet just follow the below simple steps.
If you are using Excel 2010 or older version, you can unlock a password-protected sheet with the following macro.

  • Press Alt + F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor.


  • Right-click the workbook name on the left pane (Project-VBAProject pane) and select Insert > Module from the context menu.
  • In the white window that appears, paste in the following code:
