If your are unable to insert any column or any row in your excel sheet and if insert option is disabled in your excel sheet. Then try the below steps to resolved your issue


  • Close all opened excel windows.
  • In Windows Explorer, go to directory “%appdata%\Microsoft\Excel”





  • Delete the Excel12.xlb
  • Now open Excel and check your insert option is enabled
