In some cases, it can be necessary to install a Chrome extension without using the Chrome Web Store, for example to test an unpublished version or when it is blocked


  • First collect the extension link from your friend or from mobile which you want to add in your Chrome Browser
  
  • Now go to the website CRX Viewer website and paste that link and click Open in this viewer
 
  • Now click on Download to download the extension zip file 
  • Create any Folder and extract within the folder
 
  • After extracting the Zip file, delete the zip file from that folder
     

  •  Now open Google Chrome and go to the extensions from settings - more tools - extensions
  •  Now turned on Developer mode, then click load unpacked


  • Now select the unzip folder
  
  • Done, Now check your extension has installed
